Privacy in Tiny Helper Town

We want families to enjoy the town without us building a picture of who visits. We do not create visitor profiles or add our own site analytics, advertising, or tracking tags. We made these choices with our tiniest helpers in mind.

Visiting the site

You can explore without signing in or telling us your name or email address. The services that deliver the pages handle basic connection information, such as an IP address, so the site can load and stay secure. We do not use that information to build a profile of your family.

Choices saved in your browser

“Stay in Town” remembers your choice in the current tab. An outside-links unlock ends when you close the tab or after 15 minutes. If you vote for Halloween costumes, your browser saves a small reminder that it has voted.

Halloween vote

The optional ballot asks for one costume choice for each of three friends. We keep only totals for each costume, without a name, email address, account, or voter record. The reminder in your browser discourages repeat votes, but clearing browser data or using another browser removes it.

Videos and outside sites

Video pictures load from our site. A YouTube player loads only after someone presses Play. Once it loads, YouTube may receive information from your browser and show its own controls or links. Our videos are marked “Made for Kids” on YouTube.

Music and social links lead to other services. They are available through the Grown-Ups page after outside links are unlocked, and those services have their own privacy practices.
